The Marlowe Players will be reading and casting "Post Horn Gallop" by Derek Benfield, commencing Tuesday 29th March 2016; it will be performed 19th to 23rd July 2016 at our usual venue in Darley Abbey. This is a traditional farce written in the 1960s and has proved very popular over the years with both professional and amateur groups alike. Set in the crumbling ancestral home of Lord and Lady Elrood, this is a side splitting comedy full of colourful characters all finding themselves in impossible situations. Plenty of laughs, energy and activity providing entertainment and fun both off stage and on! We will be reading the play through on Tuesday 29th March and Monday 4th April with casting on Tuesday 5th April and possibly Monday 11th April also. Casting is open to both existing and new members so if you are curious to see what we are all about or looking for a new amateur dramatics group to join, we would love to meet you!
